EL SISTEMA KENYA (ESK) IS A YOUTH MUSIC PROJECT TARGETING UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES IN KENYA’S KAWANGWARE, JUJA, AND WAITHAKA SLUMS. ESK INCORPORATES TRADITIONAL KENYAN FOLK TUNES AND CLASSICAL MUSIC WITH THE IDEALS OF EL SISTEMA TO CREATE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN, ENHANCING CREATIVITY, INDIVIDUALISM, TEAMWORK, AND CRITICAL THINKING TO HELP BROADEN LOCAL YOUTH’S EDUCATION AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS.

SISTEMA SWEDEN HAS ESTABLISHED ITSELF AS A LEADING ORGANIZATION IN THE REALM OF MUSIC EDUCATION IN SWEDEN. IT OPERATES NUCELOS IN BOTH URBAN CENTERS AND RURAL REGIONS THROUGHOUT SWEDEN, MADE POSSIBLE BY A WIDE RANGE OF SUPPORT FROM GOVERNMENT AND LOCAL COMMUNITIES.
