El Sistema Kenya
El Sistema Kenya (Esk) is a youth music project that targets underserved communities in Kenya’s kawangware, Juja, and Waithaka slums. Esk incorporates traditional Kenyan folk tunes and classical music with the ideals of el sistema to create educational opportunities for underprivileged children, which in turn enhances creativity, individualism, teamwork, and critical thinking to help broaden local youth’s education and leadership skills.
Youth Orchestra of Namibia (YONA)
Youth orchestras of Namibia (Yona) has a vision to transform the lives of youth through music. The Yona movement is inspired by the Venezuelan El Sistema – a national system of youth and children’s orchestras and choirs that advocates for social change. It aims for every child in namibia to gain access to quality music education regardless of faith, financial standing, gender, race or tribe.

Sistema Sweden has established itself as a leading organization in the realm of music education in sweden. It operates nucelos in centers among both urban and rural regions throughout Sweden, made possible by a wide range of support from both the government and local communities.
Arusha Meru International School
Located in the foothills of Mount Meru, the second largest mountain in Tanzania, the school offers an international curriculum serving 245 students from ten different nationalities ranging in ages from three to twelve. Music is part of the core curriculum.
The Let It Shine Program
Operating in the Peace Matunda Orphanage – under the guidance of music director Maria del Valle – and founded on Sistema-inspired values, let it shine aims to provide the underserved communities of arusha with access to music education.
